Servers guild

The Holy Saviour servers work with Rev. Greg each week, to help with the procession and the recession by carrying the crucifix and the acolytes. We light the candles before the service begins and put them out at the end of the service. We prepare the gospel book and participate in the procession for the gospel reading. We receive the collection plate for the blessing and then we assist the minister in the preparation for communion.

We also provide a crucifer (person who carries the crucifix) for Evensong services and we help out with any special services.

We currently have three servers for the Sunday 8am service and eight for the 10am service. We are happy to have people join us and could certainly use more volunteers - there is no age limit!
