The prayer group at Holy Saviour started a few years ago as a way to support people in our community through prayer—whether parishioners, family members, friends, or others that are brought to our attention. While you may not have previously heard about the Prayer Group, the clergy have been aware of our work and often pass along requests.
We’re a small group (currently five of us), and we’re always open to having more people join. Our prayers are sincere and are held in the strictest confidence. We believe prayer makes a difference.
Before COVID-19, we met at the church once a month. Since then, we have continued by sharing requests via email. Now that the renovations of the Parish Hall are complete, our plans are to gather once again in person starting this fall. Urgent prayer requests are still shared and prayed for as soon as we receive them.
