New Rector
Bishop Townshend appointed The Reverend Dr. Greg Jenkins as the rector of the Church of the Holy Saviour, effective August 1st. Greg was ordained and served in the Diocese of Huron before moving to the Diocese of New Westminster (Burnaby). He was the Archdeacon for Waterloo Deanery and rector of Trinity, Cambridge. We are happy Greg is coming back to Huron, and excited that our church will be his home.

We Rebuild
Restore…
The aging infrastructure of our church demands that action be taken to modernize the facility. These necessary improvements are the ideal time to improve accessibility and safety for all parishioners.
Nurture…
Our Holy Saviour family is unique. Nurturing our vibrant parish means we must cherish and allow it to grow. From infants to seniors, improved facilities will enable more spirited and joyful family events and foster more community connections.
Celebrate...
Your Church of the Holy Saviour is Waterloo’s oldest Anglican parish with a strong and noteworthy history of positive contributions to our community and support for our parishioners. That legacy inspires our families and encourages others to join us. Our capital campaign will facilitate continuing growth and stability for parishioners. Our fundraising goal is $1,000,000. We began construction in June.

Our Mission
The People of the Church of the Holy Saviour are called by God to work together as a servant community.
We are Empowered by the Holy Spirit to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Following the words of Christ and His actions, we joyfully bear witness in the world to the transforming power of God’s love.
