Dinner & a Movie

Martin Scorsese presents an impassioned and highly personal tribute to Powell and Pressburger’s work, richly illustrated with clips and rare archive material. Powell and Pressburger created some of great classics of the British golden age including The Red Shoes, Black Narcissus, A Matter of Life and Death and The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp. Brought to life with a treasure trove of rare archival material from the personal collections of Powell, Pressburger and Scorsese, the story will be told using diaries, audio recordings, home movies, personal snapshots and of course the films themselves.

Dinner & a Movie is a monthly gathering for food and conversation with a movie presented by Anders Bergstrom, and hosted by Diane Medcalf. It began in the fall of 2016 and averages 20 people at these gatherings. If you are new to Holy Saviour, feel especially invited to this "food, fellowship and film" night.
